The Volkswagen Transporter T25 T3, also known as the Vanagon, has earned its reputation as a true classic. Instantly recognisable and full of character, it has evolved from a hard working commercial vehicle into a highly desirable and customisable camper.
Standard rubber front spring isolators sit between the coil spring and the chassis, preventing metal on metal contact between the spring and vehicle body. Their role is to reduce noise, vibration and harshness entering the cabin.
Over time, constant loading, vibration and environmental exposure cause rubber isolators to soften and deteriorate. As the material breaks down, its ability to absorb movement is reduced, often resulting in knocking noises from the front suspension.
The Powerflex PFF85-1030 Front Spring Upper Isolator is manufactured from our Grey Shore 80A polyurethane and is designed to accept both OEM and aftermarket springs. It offers improved durability and resistance to deformation when compared with traditional rubber parts, ensuring consistent performance and long service life.
